Our R&D vehicle was a later model 2004 with 6k on the engine.

Upon removal of the underbelly pan, we took note that the clamps from the factory have come loose on the hot side.

The owner has never had the pan removed prior to us removing it.

Upon retightening the clamps carefully, the clamps started to stretch out of shape and lose their clamping pressure.

We also found the hoses very brittle from over exposure extreme heating conditions/cycles.

This will promote to boost leaks, inconsistent pressure and fluctuation on low RPMs.

We have formulated a new compound to resolve any issues of OEM  and aftermarket hose failure when under load.

At 1 Bar (14.7psi) the temperature will average 300+deg.f.

Any aftermarket hose will be rated at 330deg.F. minus.

TurboHoses will surpass the 550+dg. f. mark and not expand under pressure.

TurboHoses uses aircraft grade aluminum for maximum heat dissipation.

This will yield lower air temps., up to 20 Deg. F. difference

depending on the amount of boost applied.

Turbohoses Aluminum IC

Pipe Kit.

With all the kits on the market, what makes this kit so different?

Most piping kits are stainless steel which keeps heat in the system and raises intake temperatures.  We have found the difference of 10-20 dg. F. between aluminum and steel's heat soaking.  Definitely not something you want for performance.

Most of the "aluminum" kits on the market are not all aluminum.  The extremely restrictive factory elbow  off of the OEM turbo outlet is always retained.  Even the aftermarket companies that "re-made" this piece, used steel.

Flow

The majority of aftermarket kits reuse the factory metal elbow from the compressor outlet.  This piece is extremely restrictive.  Turbohoses is the ONLY company to transition to 2 1/2" immediately off of the factory flange.  Although simple, machining the cone requires specialized tooling in order to stray away from excessive welds. This keeps restrictions to a minimum while maximizing airflow.

The cold side pipe has 50% fewer bends and a shorter distance of 9" to 10".  The result will be less pressure drop and decreased spool time.

Fitment

Most aftermarket kits often can not retain the OEM air box.  Often this results in triggering engine malfunction codes when using aftermarket intake systems.

EVO VIII Bionic Series Intercooler Inlet/Outlet Hose

In stock!!!

Our hoses are the same compound used on our 1000+hp Supras that we've developed hoses for.  Without a doubt, these hoses are meant to hold pressure, tolerate heat and not expand while under load.

Replaces the factory hoses on the Intercooler inlet and outlet.

Includes: Hoses and T-Bolt clamps.
