NOBLE M12
This is the first left hand drive Noble ever built and sent to the United States. It comes to TurboHoses Speed Shop Service for custom intercooler piping, heat insulation, intake modification and tuning. Due to the lack of airflow, we have noted a large amount of heat build up in the engine compartment. Also noted, were the position of the exhaust system/cats. relative to the position of engine components, OEM design of heat shields that needs a bit of attention. We first started with installation of a BOV as well as enlarging the IC piping to match the throttle body more equally. The turbochargers were removed and custom Iconel heat shields were fabricated to "retain" the thermal charge in the turbine housing rather than having the engine bay heat soaked with the radiant charge. |
